 Faster Meetings

August 26, 2016
In the final clip, employee recognition expert, Ms Cindy Ventrice shares how the concept of a scrum meeting (taken from a rugby analogy) can help us meet quicker and in a more economical way.

MS Cindy Ventrice is a management consultant and workshop leader with over 20 years of experience. She is the author of Make Their Day! Employee Recognition That Works.

Ms Ventrice’s strong understanding of technology provided her with an opportunity to work on projects in diverse industries like technology, nonprofit, government, health care, manufacturing, trade, service, education, and tourism. Not only did each project help her develop a comprehensive understanding of business operations, they helped her learn firsthand about employee loyalty and motivation. She began to see a correlation between project success and the way employees are treated, and eventually moved away from technology-based solutions to address organisational needs and towards solutions that addressed engagement issues.

Today, her consulting and coaching practice focusses on helping organisations improve operations, products, and services by improving workplace relationships and employee morale through effective employee recognition programs and leadership training. She works with both public and private sector organisations, teaching managers and supervisors in over 20 countries, how they can improve loyalty and productivity with employee recognition, and offering workshops for administrators on how to develop great employee recognition programs. A frequent keynote speaker, Ms Ventrice addresses audiences on issues ranging from motivating volunteers to retaining the best employees and keeping them happy and productive.
