Product Reviews: Sleek, Sharp, and Sexy. Introducing the Arteon

I am in love… with a car! The Arteon is the latest addition to the Volkswagen (VW) family and it is amazing. Sleek, stylish, and sexy as heck, the model I test-drove was a Kurkuma Yellow Metallic no less. I could not stop at a red light without heads turning and staring then they ate my dust as I sped off (when I was in sports mode) as the car goes from 0 to 100km/hr in 5.6seconds.

The fuel consumption is incredible, especially considering that I kept it on sports mode for the entire test drive period. That seven-speed clutch teasing you to test it out especially when (on that rare occasion) there was minimal traffic. I look at my current car (which I still love though) and go, yes, I cheated on you for a couple of days but look at the Arteon, it is such a beautiful car. I know it sounds like I am taking it a little far but this, in my humble opinion is the Adonis of the VW range.

With all-around camera systems to help you check for your blind spots, a heads-up display to keep track of your speed, ‘Discover Pro’ 9.2-inch infotainment system at your fingertips or via gesture control, amazingly comfortable seats and legroom throughout, ample trunk space, excellent fuel consumption, and the list goes on, you too will fall in love, just like me. My only gripe is the turning circle which you need to get used to as it is a long car so take heed if you do get this car.

Should you get this car and you see an Eurasian woman drooling whilst looking in your direction, take heed that it is probably me drooling over the car, and not you.
