Product Review: F&N's Latest Offerings are Healthy and Oh So Yum!
March 1, 2019
usually opt for soy milk however; it does get a little boring. Thankfully F&N has come up with two offerings that make me a happy camper! First up is the F&N NutriSoy Hi-Calcium Reduced Sugar Soya Milk with Walnuts
. Not only is it good for the heart but it sounds good, right? Walnuts may not be the choice nut for many but its benefits are aplenty. Walnuts lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and helps lower density lipoprotein cholesterol and blood pressure. Being rich in omega-3 fatty acid, fibre, and increases good bacteria for gut health, what more can you ask for. I have already added it to my monthly supermarket list!
Fun fact: The Singapore Heart Foundation supports the NutriSoy range as a heart-friendly drink too. Oh, vegetarians and Muslims will be pleased to know that the range is halal-certified and vegetarian-friendly too, so knock yourselves out!
Next up is Magnolia’s Plus Lo-Fat Hi-Cal UHT Milk with Oats
I have to admit I am biased as I love anything with oats plus there are numerous benefits that comes with consuming oats. This is the only UHT milk that offers both the pure goodness and benefits of oats as well as beta-glucan in Singapore. Take my money! High in calcium and low in saturated fat, and filled with all kinds of healthy goodness and flavours, you may want to consider this as a good start to the day especially if you are always on the run. You can even consider keeping a couple of packs in the office since it comes in multi-packs of six. Again, I love anything oatmeal related so though I sound slightly bias, this is delish.
